Dr. Monisha Iyer earned her Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the year 2000. Subsequently, she completed an orthodontic residency program at the University of Michigan under the auspices of the internationally renowned Dr. Lysle E. Johnston, Jr. and Dr. James McNamara. Dr. Iyer served as class president for each of her three years as a resident. Soon after graduation, Dr. Iyer was nationally recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists with the Thomas M. Graber Award of Special Merit for her Masters Research work.

Prior to starting her practice in Marlton, she was practicing in the New York area. Dr. Iyer has joined New York University as a part-time faculty member and teaches clinical orthodontics to their residents. Dr. Iyer regularly attends conferences and meetings in order to utilize the most current and up to date methods in her orthodontic practice. She has spoken at national meetings such as the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Meeting and the American Cleft Palate Association Annual Meeting. Dr. Iyer is a Board Certified orthodontist.

Dr. Iyer enjoys sports, traveling, hiking and being with her family. She played collegiate rugby for four years and has hiked in different countries around the world.

Dr. Iyer has been named South Jersey Magazine's "Top Dentist" for the past several years.
