Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Monisha Iyer earned her Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the year 2000. Subsequently, she completed an orthodontic residency program at the University of Michigan under the auspices of the internationally renowned Dr. Lysle E. Johnston, Jr. and Dr. James McNamara. Dr. Iyer served as class president for each of her three years as a resident. Soon after graduation, Dr. Iyer was nationally recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists with the Thomas M. Graber Award of Special Merit for her Masters Research work.

Prior to starting her practice in Marlton, she was practicing in the New York area. Dr. Iyer has joined New York University as a part-time faculty member and teaches clinical orthodontics to their residents. Dr. Iyer regularly attends conferences and meetings in order to utilize the most current and up to date methods in her orthodontic practice. She has spoken at national meetings such as the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Meeting and the American Cleft Palate Association Annual Meeting. Dr. Iyer is a Board Certified orthodontist.

Dr. Iyer enjoys sports, traveling, hiking and being with her family. She played collegiate rugby for four years and has hiked in different countries around the world.

Dr. Iyer has been named South Jersey Magazine's "Top Dentist" for the past several years.

Dr. G. Ross Segal earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Temple University's orthodontic program, with top honors. He holds a D.M.D. degree, specializing in orthodontics, and a Master's degree in oral biology.
In 2002, Dr. Segal was sought out by the largest pediatric dental group in Southern Jersey to be the premier orthodontist responsible for treating their children. His natural ability to calm children and maintain a comfortable environment has made Dr. Segal a favorite among adolescents.
Dr. Segal is also a specialist in the application of "Invisalign" (invisible braces) for teenagers and adults. The Invisalign Company has recently sought out the expertise of Dr. Segal to provide seminars to dentists located in the greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey area. In addition, Dr. Segal continues to lecture at national conferences, at Temple University and to various dental study groups.
Dr. Segal is a sports enthusiast. He has been actively participating in martial arts for over 15 years and continues to give private martial art lessons to doctors and patients in the area.
Dr. Segal has been named South Jersey Magazine's, "Top Dentist", for the past several years.

Meet Our Staff

Trish was born in Southern California, but moved to Lancaster Co. Pennsylvania with her mom and stepdad when she was young. She earned a degree in Psychology from Penn State University. She's been a treatment coordinator for Segal and Iyer Orthodontics since December of 2009. "It's been one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had. We truly are like a family. It's refreshing to see people with such amazing values, and who genuinely care for each other and our patients. I love coming to work and I look forward to helping people smile for a long time to come."
Trish and her husband Todd have been married for 19 years. They reside in Marlton with their two boys, Logan and Nathan, who are both very active in baseball. Trish loves spending time with her family. Their activities include going to the beach, riding roller coasters, skiing, camping, watching her boys play baseball, taking day trips to NYC, and enjoying concerts and shows." Trish is "thankful every day for my amazing husband, boys, family and friends."

Michelle grew up in Wood-Ridge, NJ, a small town in North Jersey just minutes away from Giants Stadium – GO GIANTS!!! She lived in Bergen County until moving to Marlton in 1986. When her children were young, she was a member of Cherokee H.S. Band Boosters, Fifth Quarter Club, and Project Graduation. She was also very involved in PTA and was president of DeMasi Middle School PTA for 2 years.
She's been married to her husband George for 32 years and has three grown sons, Steven, Jeffrey and Drew. She also has a 5 year old grandson named Jack, who she says is "the love of my life." She shares her home with her dog Tommy and her iguana Mary. In her free time, she loves to read, shop, dine out and spend time with Jack.

Shirley was born and raised in Magnolia, NJ. She graduated from Sterling High School and then attended the dental assisting program at Camden County Technical School. She received her degree and immediately starting working in the orthodontic field. She has been working in orthodontics for over 33 years and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of it. She especially enjoys being a part of creating beautiful smiles.
Her husband's name is Tom and they have a 17 year old daughter named Brooke. They have been married for 27 years and live in Erial, NJ. Shirley enjoys doing home improvement projects, going to the shore, taking long drives and spending time with family and friends.

Lorraine (aka Raine, Mom, and Rah Rah) was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 2nd. She has lived in Marlton since 1983, and is quick to boast about her "three wonderful daughters - Crystal, Regina, and Megan - and Zach whom we raised for four years and think of as a son." Lorraine loves life, and loves welcoming grandchildren into the world.
She currently has four grandchildren under the age of three: Brooklin, Makayla, Nicole, and Logan. In her spare time she loves to travel to see her children and grandchildren, who live out of state. She loves to read when she has spare time, and her favorite book is the "Last Templar". Lorraine loves coming to work everyday. "I love the people I work with, and I love my job. The fact that I work with two of the most amazing doctors is only a plus

April grew up and currently lives in South Jersey. She graduated from Camden County College, Dental Assistants Program where she earned her CDA and RDA licenses. She has been working in the orthodontic field for the past 16 years. She loves seeing the end result for all patients, and also enjoys being part of what she calls an "outstanding, charismatic office."
April has two children, Lexi and Logan. Some of her hobbies include going to the beach, outdoor sports, and baking. She is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her dog Storm.
